My personal story & mission

“When I was seven, I started interviewing people with a handheld recorder—beginning with my brother. I was fascinated by National Geographic, Jacques Cousteau, and the idea that media could transport us into lives and worlds far beyond our own.
That curiosity has stayed with me throughout my career.
Years later, while working in southern Ethiopia, I met a mother named Liya who told me she worked hard because she wanted her children to be educated, live better lives, and make a difference. I’ve never forgotten her words.
Today, I’m interested in how storytelling, media, artificial intelligence, education, and emotional intelligence can work together to help people learn, connect, and grow.
Technology is changing quickly. The human need for curiosity, empathy, creativity, and meaningful stories is not.
My work explores that intersection—through media, consulting, workshops, and experimentation—with one guiding question:
How can we use new tools to make learning and communication more human, not less?”
